From GenAI Training to Production. Lessons learned from Building AI Agents for Financial Services Clients
In 2026, GenAI success is no longer measured by the number of pilots but by the number of solutions running in production. This session tells the story of how our GenAI Architects working group at Financial Services GenAI CoE transformed widespread adoption into real client delivery. With 90% of employees trained in GenAI, 15% reaching expert-level proficiency, and AI initiatives delivered across more than 20 major financial services clients, we developed a practical framework for building, testing, and scaling enterprise AI agents. Through real delivery examples, I will demonstrate how AI agents were used to automate requirements analysis, software testing, documentation generation, operational monitoring, and modernization initiatives. The presentation will cover multi-agent architecture, evaluation strategies for non-deterministic systems, enterprise integration patterns, and lessons learned from deploying AI within highly regulated environments. The goal is not to showcase another AI product, but to share proven engineering practices that enabled AI adoption at scale and generated measurable business value for clients.
